Before Chevys Training Plan, running a marathon never felt like a real option for me - I've never been great at long distance running. Chevy's training plan and weekly coaching allowed me to build the strength and endurance I needed to run an injury-free, comfortable marathon, all without the huge distances usually expected for marathon training. The effect it had on my overall ability was transformational.

It's been great to work Chevy, not only on race prep, but all the lifestyle and mental aspects that come with running. He has taught me a lot when it comes to the link between running and mental health, which has helped me better understand myself and how I can get the best results without killing myself getting there!

My first marathon at the age of 53 and I did it. I always said I didn’t actually want to run a marathon as I thought it would be too much of a commitment and I would fail. Don’t get me wrong, adopting the ‘Mind Over Marathon’ training plan wasn’t a breeze - any marathon training involves hard work and consistency - but this plan made it easier than I’d anticipated in terms of its adaptability to fit it around all my other life stuff.

Totally fair. If you want a better feel for how I coach—and the kind of energy I bring—watch this BBC documentary I was part of a while back.
Yeah, it’s a bit of a flex. But come on, we all get one.
It’s called Mind Over Marathon. I coached 10 people living with mental health challenges to run the London Marathon. It was part of a national mental health campaign led by Prince William, Kate, and Harry.
I’m sharing it not because of who was in the room, but because it’s still the most honest reflection of what this work means to me—and how I show up for the people I coach.
