What I do

What I Do

I work at the intersection of running performance, strength and conditioning, and physical longevity.

I coach runners and high-performing professionals who want to improve without repeatedly resetting due to injury, burnout, or exhaustion. Most of my clients are balancing training alongside demanding careers, limited recovery time, and real-world pressure.

The aim is not to maximise training volume.
The aim is to build a resilient runner who can keep improving over time.

What I do

Background

I coach across a wide range of contexts, from people rebuilding consistency to those preparing for marathons and competitive events.

Alongside my coaching work, I have contributed to broader conversations on running, performance and health, including BBC’s Mind Over Marathon. I have also worked in global ambassador and advisory roles with brands such as ASICS.

These roles reflect how I think about performance.
They are not the work itself.

The work happens in sessions, in planning, and in the decisions made between sessions.

How I Work

I do not separate running from the rest of life.

We work across all the elements that influence running performance, including:

  • Strength work in the gym
  • Running technique and efficiency
  • Pacing, breathing, and intensity control
  • Conditioning and capacity building
  • Mobility and resilience
  • Recovery and fatigue management
  • How work stress and life pressure affect what is realistic at any given time

Sessions are used to build and refine these elements. Progress depends just as much on the decisions made between sessions.

Who's This Is For

I do not separate running from the rest of life.

This work tends to suit people who:

  • Care about their running
  • Value structure and clear decision-making
  • Want progress that fits around real-world demands
  • Are willing to adjust training rather than force it

It is not built around generic plans, high-volume templates, or constant intensity for its own sake.

Sessions are used to build and refine these elements. Progress depends just as much on the decisions made between sessions.

Working Together

I work with a limited number of clients to keep the coaching considered and responsive.

Most clients train with me weekly or fortnightly, with frequency adjusting based on need rather than a fixed model.

The starting point is always a consultation.

That is where we clarify what is currently limiting progress, whether this approach makes sense, and what

should change next.

There is no obligation to continue.
The goal is clarity.
